Kenzie Sings

Kenzie is in an after school choir. They sang Christmas songs at the Oaks mall tonight. Kenzie did a great job.

4th time's a charm

Bella got baptized today. Eric only had to say the prayer 4 times. It was a wonderful day. It was great to have our family and friends there. Everyone came over afterwards for food. It really was a wonderful day.

On Tuesday Eric took the day off and we went with some friends to the Santa Barbara Zoo. The kids had a wonderful time. After we went to Islands for dinner. We love it because kids eat free on Tuesday.(Rohan, Kenzie, Maya, Bella, and Supriya)

Wedding Time Capsule

Eric and I got a wedding time capsule when we got married. You are not supposed to open it until your 25th wedding anniversary. We have taken this with us every place we moved to. We were determined to wait until our 25 year. Well last night when we were cleaning the garage we came across it and decide to open it. Our rational was that we had waited a long time already and we didn't want to cart it around any more. Well we were really excited. We opened it up and realized we never filled it out. There was a book on our wedding that we filled out the first page. The was a photo album with no pictures. There were a bunch of envelopes that we were supposed to have people write about our wedding that I know we got some letters but must have never put them in the envelopes and then into the time capsule. It was actually very funny that we had been carting around the time capsule with nothing in it for 11 years.

Diego got approved today. We are officially his parents. If we lived in Guatemala we would get custody of him but because we live here we have a couple more steps to bring him home. Hopefully around the end of the year.

PUMKINS, PUMPKINS and more PUMPKINS

Today we went to the pumpkin patch with our cousin Bree. Everone had a wonderful time. We went in the corn maze. We saw the animals. We got hot. We picked out our pumpkins. Over all it was very exciting.

Walking with Dinosaurs

We took the kids to see Walking with Dinosaurs at Staple Center. They had a wonderful time. The dinosaurs were so life like. Maya was a little scared but she sat on Erics lap and then she was fine. We ended up with gret tickets. I got 4th row seats which turned out to be first row seats since they started at row 4. It made the dinosaurs seam even more life like. We had a wonderful time with grandma, grandpa and uncle Jesse. Hope you like the pictures the Dinosaurs were amazing. Worth every penny we spent on the ticktes.

We went miniature golfing last Saturday. The girls got free golfing tickets last year from an award assembly we thought we better use them. The girls had a great time. After we golfed Eric took the girls on the Indy cars. He had to drive since no one else was big enough. Eric got to go on the Indy cars 3 times.

Prop 8

There was a great article in the LA Times. It was very pro prop 8. I think everyone should read it. It gives a non religious reason that we should all vote yes on prop 8. Here is the link.
